The event took place over 2 days. On Wednesday, 8th November, 27 club members attended the first of the 2 Poppy Roquet competitions held at the club to support the British Legion Poppy Appeal. A second competition was held on Saturday, 11th November, after the AGM when another 13 club members took part. A total of 320.61 was raised for this worthy cause, a new record for the event.

Kay Martin was in the lead with 9 roquets out of a maximum of 16 on the first day, but no one was able to better this on the final day.
