Bowdon
Welcomes New Members
Every
year Bowdon Croquet Club welcomes several new members.
Experienced players and those with no knowledge of the game at all are
equally received by the club.
For
the beginner a full coaching course is offered explaining all
aspects of Association Croquet.
Also, there are always willing members who will be pleased to
give one-to-one tuition. For a good, brief description of Association
Croquet
click here and have a look at the Croquet
Association's explanation or, alternatively, see Coaching on this site.
Croquet
is taken seriously by most players at all standards but the
emphasis at the club is on having fun. For external league games and
tournaments white clothing is the rule
but at all other times, apart from a pair of flat shoes, it is
wear what you like.
If
you are not sure about joining or going on the course why not pop in
and watch or come for tea (every Saturday at 4pm) and have a chat with
us croquet addicts. For directions to the club click here.
If you are interested in joining the course please
contact John Saxby on 0161 928 4692. To apply for membership
please print
off and complete the
application form
and send it to the club.
