Entry Fees
£18 (£15 for Bowdon members)
Entries       
Allocation and Closing Date: 1st March. Maximum entry 24.
- Play will start at 9.30am each day, except on Monday when play may start earlier.
- Players will be guaranteed a minimum of two games per day, conditions permitting.
- Hoop widths will be at manager's discretion, depending on conditions and standard of entry.
- Dawson 2000 balls will be used.      
- Entries will be taken online through the CA website.
- Entries by post with an e-mail address will be acknowledged by e-mail, otherwise please provide an SAE for acknowledgement; cheques for entries should be made payable to Bowdon Croquet Club.

Exceptions and Additions to Tournament Regulations:
- Play will start at 9.30am each day.
- Players will be guaranteed a minimum of two games per day, conditions permitting.
- Hoop widths will be at manager's discretion, depending on conditions and standard of entry.
- Dawson 2000 balls will be used.      
- The draw will be seeded.

Event 1:   Open Singles. Advanced play. (Holder: Ken Cooper) 
Event 2:   B Class. Advanced play (Holder: Mike Sandler)
Event 3:   C Class. Level play (Holder: Steve Reynolds)
Event 4:   D Class. Level play.
For Events 1, 2, 3 & 4, entrants will be drawn into 4 groups according to handicap.   
Event 5:   The Cardwell handicap singles. Egyptian.  (Holder: Charles Harding).
Event 6:   The Pidcock Mallets handicap doubles. Single life. Minimum combined handicap 5 (at time of entry). (Holders: Philip Eardley & Sylvia Steer).
Event 7:   Open doubles. Single life. (Holders:
Philip Eardley & Mike Steer).
Event 8:   Golf Croquet. (at manager's discretion).
Event 9:   Jenga Competition. (at manager's discretion)

- Play will start at 9.30am each day.
- Players will be guaranteed a minimum of two games per day, conditions permitting.
- Hoop widths will be at manager's discretion, depending on conditions and standard of entry.
- Dawson 2000 balls will be used.      
- Entry is restricted to those with a handicap of 20 or less.
- A Doubles Handicap may be set.
- Time limit of 4 hours on events 1 to 5.
- A “Rainbow Egyptian” will be organised for all those knocked out of any of the above events.
- Entries will be taken online through the CA website.
- Entries by post with an e-mail address will be acknowledged by e-mail, otherwise please provide an SAE for acknowledgement; cheques for entries should be made payable to Bowdon Croquet Club.

Event 1:    The Championship of the North of England (The Faulkner Cup). Best of 5 may be played in the quarter-finals, semi-finals and final (at manager's discretion).
Event  1A: Plate Event  (The Tollemache Plate - Holder: Colin Irwin). Open to players who are knocked out of Event 1. Advanced play. Format at manager's discretion.
