WEDNESDAY COMPETITION
In a close finish Alan Linton won the Wednesday Competition's annual trophy. Lorna Frost had to win all three games to-day to edge Alan out of first position and fine form in the morning saw the first two of these wins accomplished. Unfortunately, she came up against Ken Cooper, also in top form, in the afternoon match and lost -2.
Mike Steer won the day's Mars Bar with one of the top scores of the season, 90 points.
