SWINGING SUNDAY, JUNE 24 2007
The first Swinging Sunday of the season attracted an excellent turnout of 9 players.  The format of 2 games of short croquet resulted in 3 players notching up 2 wins each – Jonathan Swinton, Barry McKenzie and Adam Swinton.  However the scoring system is designed to sort out the men from the boys by taking the winning margins into account and in fact our winner was 10 year old Adam Swinton.  With good use of his bisques he also ran the highest number of hoops on the day to win his second game 7-0.  Well done Adam!!  Barry was second and Adam’s father Jonathan took third place. 

Owing to league matches being played at the club the next Swinging Sunday will be July 15th.
