BOWDON SAINTS WIN AT PENDLE
Bowdon Saints had a good 4-2 win at Pendle on Saturday (11/08/07). At lunch the score was 2-0 with David Walters/John Wastell beating Robert Essler/Peter Wilson +17 in one doubles match and Martin Granger Brown/Barry Keen beating Liz Wilson/John Filsak +3 in the other. In the afternoon Liz Wilson quickly beat Barry +25 and John went down -7 to Peter Wilson to make the score 2-2. However, wins by Martin over Robert (+23) and David over John Filsak saw the team home with a 4-2 win.
