drawn to play against Pendle & Craven in the semi-final of the Mary
Rose
competition at home on September 15; this is the
National Advanced Level Knockout competition for players with a
handicap of 1 or greater. The club would like to wish the team the best of luck - the final awaits!! |

Bowdon have won the trophy on 5 occasions: 1983, 1984, 1990, 1993 & 2001. The team that won it the last time was David Walters, Andrew Keeble, Mike Sandler & Ken Cooper (Capt.), seen here with the trophy made from a tankard found on King Henry VIII's warship, the Mary Rose. |
