GRIFFINS LOSE FIRST LEAGUE GAME OF SEASON (24/04/06)

 John Saxby's NW Midweek League team kicked off the season on Monday with a 4-2 home defeat by Bury.

John and Philip Hunter won their doubles in the morning +17 but Rupert Webb (+1t) was the only  winner in the singles matches after lunch.
