IAN LINES WINS SOUTHPORT ADVANCED TOURNAMENT
Ian Lines beat David Nicholson +16, +2 in the final of the Southport September Advanced Weekend to retain the Sandiforth Salver.
Congratulations also go to David Nicholson for getting his CA Silver Medal for getting to the final of a 16 player CA open knockout tournament for the first time. Mike Sandler reduced his handicap from 3 to 2.5, and Ian Lines went from -1.5 to -2 for the second time in 12 months, having taken 10 months to lose over 300 points, and exactly 2 months to get 200 points back!
