Maugham and Jenny Williams met in a close final of the Southport Advanced
competition on Sunday 24th April 2005 with David winning +4, +11.
In fact, there were no less
than 6 Bowdon members in the quarter-finals, the other four being Ian Lines,
Ailsa Lines, Steve Lewis and Peter Taylor
