COLIN IRWIN WINS NW FEDERATION HEATON PARK CHALLENGE
Colin Irwin beat John Haslam +5tp in the final of the Heaton Park Advanced Challenge on Saturday 24th September 2005
A couple of notable firsts were Alan Pidock's first ever tournament triple to beat Paul Rigge +21tp in the final of the Y, and Jerry Guest completed his first ever tournament sextuple (after 10 years of trying!) to beat David Barrett +26sxp, thus winning the Z event.
