In the morning (15/05/05) Philip Tidswell and Richard  Griffiths won doubles +1T vs Bob Burnett and Ray Lowe, whilst Andrew Winn and Mike Sandler lost -1T vs Barbara Haslam and Keith Roberts. In the singles Richard won +5 vs Ray Lowe, Philip  lost -2 vs Bob Burnett and Mike Sandler lost to Barbara Haslam. Man of the Match was Andrew Winn, who was still playing after the above had finished, and looked to be set to lose at time, when he was 5 hoops behind Keith Roberts. However, Andrew had the turn after time was called, and levelled it with some miraculous shots taking him to 4-back with both balls and an Irish peel in Golden Hoop play allowed him to complete a terrific +2t.
