Bowdon members, both past and present, met up last week at the East Dorset Over-50's Handicap tournament. Ken Cooper travelled down to see Alan Linton, Roy Edwards and Peter Shepheard at the Parkstone Club for 3 days of glorious sunshine.
All four got off to a poor first day when the lawns were damp, but the local contingent recovered to 4 wins out of 7 and Ken to 3, as the lawns speeded up. Local member Terry Wood won with a 100% record (and a handicap change to -0.5) with John Lonsdale getting the runners-up spot.
