Bury looked to be in a strong position in both the morning doubles, until Ian did all 4 peels of a quad to get back into the game. Ian was hampered after the straight rover peel, giving David all the balls and a chance to finish, but he misapproached 4 back. Ian then hit in and finished.

In the afternoon, Bowdon had a clean sweep, which was a big surprise in view
of the higher handicaps of 3 of the Bowdon team.
