There are 3 weeks remaining in the Winter One-Ball competition: 4th, 11th & 18th March. The winner of the league will be presented with the trophy at the annual Charity One-Ball competition, which will be held the following week, 25th March, starting at 10am. This year it is run in aid of Bowel Cancer UK, which has a "house colour" of purple, so those who like to wear a colour theme have plenty of scope. There will be a £5 entry fee and the winners can go to Surbiton for the one and only final on Sunday, 10th May, if they so wish; we get one place in the final for every £50 we raise.
EARLY SEASON COACHING
The club will again be providing coaching to the high bisquers before the season gets fully underway in an effort to allow players to start the season "running"!
The following courses have been arranged:

10th April - Flying Circus Bronze Course for those players in the 16-20 handicap range (although anyone really keen to improve may also attend if spaces are available). The course covers openings, split croquet strokes, hoop approaches, basic cannons, 4-ball breaks, general strategy against better players, break management, plus blackboard lessons on 3-ball endings (if time permits). The course is free of charge but spaces are limited; if you are interested in attending then please sign the board in the clubhouse.

11th April - Revision Day for last year's new entrants, from 10am until lunchtime.

18th & 24th April - Taster Days to capture new members before the 6-week Beginners' Course starts on 7th May; last year's beginners are entitled to attend the Beginners' Course free of charge.

being distributed to all members. Please print and complete, and either post to me, or put in the folder on the Bar. (click here for entry forms).

Clubhouse. (click here for rules).

Please read these carefully as there are a number of changes from previous years. These changes are highlighted in red.

There should be plenty of time for each round, but obviously in the earlier rounds there are a lot of matches to be played, so try and get your
matches in early. If you are going to be away/unable to play for any length of time please try and get your matches before then, or at least
arrange dates to play them.

If you are having difficulty in arranging matches please let me know.
